VDU Assessors Course Ireland

The VDU Assessors course is designed to enable the learner to perform ergonomic risk assessments in their workplace. It will also give information to learners to assist their employers in fulfilling their statutory obligations under the Safety, Health & Welfare (General App) Regulations 2007; Chapter 5 of Part 2.

 

 

 

 

Course Objectives.                                                                                                      

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand the minimum legal requirements under the VDU/DSE Regulations.

Understand the basic principles of Ergonomics.

Describe the postural implications of workstations.

Identify Ergonomic Risk Factors.

Carry out a risk assessment of a workstation.

Implement suitable control measures.

Who should attend:  Managers, supervisors, office personnel responsible for VDU operators and workstations and personnel who purchase or select office furniture.

Assessment, Certification GHSS Certificate of Attendance.
Certificate Valid for  3yrs.
