This comprehensive 3 day Fetac level 5 certification course was introduced on 1st September 2008 and covers all the essential aspects of the Occupational First Aid requirements as outlined in Fetac Module D20188.
The Occupational First Aid course now includes the use of the Automated External Defibrillator and the administration of aspirin for a suspected heart attack.
Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations S,I, No 299 of 2007, there is a requirement on employers based on a risk assessment to have a sufficient number of Occupational First Aiders trained and deployed in the workplace. With training from our H.S.A. recognised Instructors this Occupational First Aid course will satisfy your legal requirements under the regulations.
On successful completion of the course and assessment, learners will receive an Occupational First Aid Certificate, which is valid for 2 years.
All of our instructors delivering this course are registered Occupational First Aid Instructors with the Health & Safety Authority agent OFAAA.
