Safety VDU Operator

The DSE/VDU operators training course is designed to enable the learner to perform ergonomic risk assessments of their own workstation. It will also give information to learners to assist their employers in fulfilling their statutory obligations under the Safety, Health & Welfare (General App) Regulations 2007; Chapter 5 of Part 2.





Course Objectives.

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand the minimum legal requirements under the DSE/VDU Regulations.

Understand the basic principles of Ergonomics.

Describe the postural implications of workstations.

Identify Ergonomic Risk Factors.

Carry out a risk assessment of their own workstation.

Implement suitable control measures.

Who should attend:  All staff and employees who operate DSE / VDU at work.
Duration 1 day.
Assessment, Certification Practical, & Theory- Multiple choice exam. GHSS Certificate of Attendance.
Certificate Valid for  3yrs.
